About the Department

About the Department: The department of Philosophy is one of the oldest departments of the college. The general course was started in 1947 while the honours stream was introduced in 2005. Several eminent teachers have taught the students of the department down the years. Many students of the department are successfully established in life. Apart from conventional education, the department holds several programmes to provide students with the opportunity for wholesome department.
