Genarel Rules

ATTESTATION, TRUE COPIES & CERTIFICATE

Students who need to attest their certificates, true copy etc. are advised to approach the Principal from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. through the office everyday. The students are advised to bring along with them all the required documents in original (certificate for the date of birth, mark-sheet etc.)

INDIAN EDUCATIONAL BOARDS & UNIVERSITIES

Students from an education board other than that of West Bengal or from a university other than W.B.S.U. must bring migration certificate from the board/university under which they appeared for the last examination within one month from the date of their admission into this college. Application for this migration certificate must be made to the board or university through the authorities of the school or college from which they passed the last examination.

PROGRESS REPORT

In order to keep guardians in touch with the performance of their wards, detailed progress reports are sent to them from time to time. They are requested to take note of them, so that there may be little room for surprise and no cause for complaint when promotion or sending up for the examination is withheld at the end of the academic year.

CLASS ROOM

The class rooms cannot be used for private study beyond the college hours, without having the written permission of the college authority.

P. G. CLASS ROOM :

There are two separate class rooms for Post Graduate students of Bengali, named Bibhuti Bhushan Mukhopadhyay Shrenikaksho and Rakhal Das Bandyopadhyay Shrenikaksha, in the main campus, near college canteen.

POSTERS

Defilement of the college ambience by putting up, pasting or fixing posters are strictly prohibilited on any part of the college walls. Fine will be imposed for any sort of writing on the college walls.

PARKING

A separate space for parking of cycles, bikes etc. has been created in the ground floor of the adminstrative building. Cycles are to be parked at the cycle stands provided and not along college corridors or verandahs. The college would not accept any responsibility for the loss of the cycle or its accessories. Students are advised to have their cycles securely locked and chained.

STUDENTS’ COMMON ROOMS

There are separate arrangements of common room for boys and girls. Indoor sports facilities are available in both the common rooms. Accesss to the girls’ common room is strictly reserved to girl students only.

NOTICE BOARD

Students are advised to look up the notice board on entering and leaving the college. No excuse will be considered if notices on the board are ignored.
