History Club

A HISTORY CLUB has been founded by the Department of History on 13th December, 2013 and this is a first of its kind initiative in India, following the examples of America and Britain. History Club aspires to include all students, teachers, professors, research fellows and lovers of History in this historical initiative.

Those actively joining this endeavour would be able to take part in seminars on various historical topics every month, apart from quiz contests, debates, regular inputs on latest historical discoveries, biographical discussions on eminent historians, film/documentary shows and excursions to places of historical interests. The participants would also be able to present their project reports / research papers in the annual conventions of the History Club. The projects / papers presented would be preserved in the archives of the History Club.
